EMPLOYER INFORMATION

The Arizona Education Virtual Job Fair features five “exhibit halls” with up to twenty-five district and charter booths housed within each hall. During the Arizona Education Virtual Job Fair, job seekers will enter exhibit halls and then click on specific district, charter, or school booths. In each booth, candidates will learn more about your district, charter, schools, and community from the information you upload to your booth. This may include graphics, videos, position descriptions, and job applications. On the day of the event, you will be able to send group chat messages to job candidates with instructions on how best to utilize your booth. Employers and job seekers will also have the opportunity to interact with each other via one-on-one text chat as well as private audio and video chats.

Frequently Asked Questions

You do not need to install any special apps or software from the job fair vendor. However, you must use Chrome or Firefox browsers for this event. If you do not have access to one of these two browsers, you will need to install them on all computers and tablets your recruiters will be using.
The person in your district or charter who registered for the event will receive an email with instructions on how to set up and customize your booth. This person will add team members to the booth using their email addresses. They will also need to create unique passwords for each team member and email passwords to team members. Once team members have been registered, they may log in independently at any time. Their login information will be the same on the day of the event.
vFairs will not allow any changes after February 6. Therefore, if you need help setting up your booth, please do not delay; email Julie Lenza immediately. If you think of something later that you wish you had included, remember you will be able to exchange information and documents with job seekers using the chat.

Yes! Job seekers will be able to register and upload resumes from January 4 through February 27. Uploaded resumes will be available for you to review, and you can send candidates private invitations to meet with you using audio or video chat at a specific time. If you are having technical difficulties, contact the vFairs virtual help desk.
You can have as many recruiters at your booth as you wish. It will be helpful to have one or two team members in the group chat room to welcome job seekers into your booth and handle general questions. If team members must step away from the group chat to attend to private chat messages or audio or video correspondence, you may want to leave a note in the group chat for any job seekers who arrive in your booth letting them know that you will be returning shortly. Audio, video, and private chats are only available on a one-on-one basis, so group video correspondence is not available. The number of job seekers visiting your booth may change throughout the day of the job fair, so it will be important to develop a communication plan between team members to ensure you are meeting with as many job seekers as possible on the day of the event.
Upon entering your booth, job seekers will be able to click on different tabs to view all the information you provided about your district or charter. You may include videos, photos, and text to describe your district, charter, schools, and community, open position descriptions, details on how to apply, and any other application documents. Once they enter your booth, you can engage with job seekers using the group chat. Within the group chat you will be able to invite job seekers to one-on-one video and audio correspondence by sending private messages. Only employers have the option to make that request.
Yes. Job seekers will be able to add documents from your booth to their digital “swag bag” which will be emailed to them at the end of the job fair.
You will be able to view all documents saved on the vFairs platform until March 27, 2021. You will be able to view any documents saved on your vFairs account, such as resumes, as well as view uploaded resumes on candidate accounts with whom you were not able to connect on the day of the event. You will also have access to the chat features, as well as the audio and video functions of the platform where you can continue to meet with job seekers.
Yes! Your chat will be available for 30 days after the date of the job fair. Simply login and return to your booth to view past conversations.
The vFairs technical support team will be available at the Help Desk in the Lobby. You can also contact Julie.Lenza@azed.gov at the Arizona Department of Education.
